The Moto3 Honda Team Asia completed the San Marino Grand Prix, 16th round of the World Championship at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.
\nTeam and riders arrived in Italy highly motivated after the Catalan GP where Taiyo Furusato got the podium.<\/p>\n

The first day in Misano was positive. Furusato confirmed his strong pace getting the 4th time in FP1 before closing the afternoon session in 7th place, a result that secured him a direct access to Q2.
\nAditama (declared fit to ride just before FP1- following the ankle injury he sustained in Barcelona) used the opening session to gradually adapt to the bike and he finished 26th.<\/p>\n

The morning practice of the second day was mainly dedicated to race preparation. In qualifying Furusato confirmed his speed with a strong performance by getting the 7th position on the grid.
\nAditama ended 25th after continuing his step-by-step recovery and adapting to the track conditions throughout the day.<\/p>\n

The race day turned into a difficult Sunday for the team. Taiyo Furusato, starting from the third row on the grid, struggled from the beginning of the race and he never found the good feeling of the first days. The Japanese rider lost ground immediately after the start; he pushed throughout the 20-lap race but he finally crossed the line in 12th place, a result that did not meet the expectations of the team and rider.
\nArbi Aditama suffered a technical issue on the straight that forced him to retire and it was a shame considering the steady progress he had shown across the weekend.<\/p>\n

Now one week to reset before flying to Asia for the first overseas races!<\/p>\n

Today I\u2019m not satisfied with the result. I couldn\u2019t make a good start and immediately lost contact with the leading group, which made the race very difficult. I tried to push and recover, but I couldn\u2019t get the same confidence with the bike that I had in practice and qualifying.
\nI expected much more from this weekend, especially after yesterday\u2019s strong qualifying. Still, I finished the race and scored points, which is always important. Now it\u2019s time to reset and focus on the next two rounds in Asia. Japan and Indonesia are very special races for me and the team, and I will give everything to achieve much stronger results there.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a shame to finish the weekend like this. I had a good start and felt positive in the opening laps, but then a technical problem appeared on the straight, and I couldn\u2019t continue. It\u2019s very disappointing because I felt I was improving step by step during the weekend and was looking forward to the race.
\nEven if the result is frustrating, there are positives to take. I learned a lot about the bike and the circuit, and I feel that my overall pace is improving. Now I\u2019m already focused on the upcoming races in Japan and Indonesia, where I will give my maximum to achieve much better results. Thanks to the team for their effort and support even on a difficult day like today.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, we couldn\u2019t finish the weekend as we hoped. It turned out to be a very tough race for both of our riders. Arbi Aditama suffered a technical issue that forced him to retire early, which was disappointing after the progress he had made throughout the weekend. Meanwhile, Taiyo Furusato struggled from the start and couldn\u2019t find the same good feeling he had yesterday. Still, he managed to bring the bike home and secure points.
\nIt was not the result we were aiming for, but both riders avoided mistakes and crashes, which is important. Now, we must reset, learn from this weekend, and prepare properly for Japan and Indonesia. These two races are key for us, and we will work hard to deliver stronger performances there.<\/p>\n
