MIVV, Winning DNA

For a company leading in the production of exhaust systems, it is essential to have racing chromosomes that carry the experiences gained on circuits around the world. Only in this way can we ensure top-level performance even on products intended for road users.
For over 40 years, we at MIVV have been writing the soundtrack of the most successful motorcycles.
And, from the very beginning of this journey, one of the cornerstones of our philosophy has been our engagement with the racing world.

For a company aiming to achieve excellence in a field like ours, commitment to the world of racing is essential.
Only by testing and developing products under the most demanding conditions can the skills and experience be gained to create products capable of delivering the utmost even in everyday riding conditions.

MIVV in MotoGP

Our presence in the premier motorcycle category peaked with the Honda Repsol Team, with whom we maintained a partnership from 2006 to 2010. During these years, the team secured the riders’ championship won by Nicky Hayden, as well as two second-place and two third-place finishes thanks to the very strong Dani Pedrosa. During our collaboration, there was also a transition between Hayden and Dovizioso, and between 2006 and 2007, the RC211V bikes were replaced by the new RC212V models.

MIVV in Moto2

MIVV has been technically involved in Moto2 since its inception. The new class debuted in 2010, replacing the 250cc category, which was phased out due to the removal of the displacement limit and rules aimed at reducing the financial burden on teams (all bikes are equipped with an engine supplied by Honda, derived from the CBR 600 RR).
Over several seasons, MIVV has established partnerships with WTR Team, SAG Team, Speed Up Team, Italtrans Team, and Stop and Go Racing Team.

MIVV in Moto3

The newly created Moto3 category replaced the old 125cc class starting in 2012. New regulations, new bike specifications, and precise requirements to reduce the costs of the category. MIVV is also active in this category and, in 2019, launched a new racing exhaust that, in terms of aesthetics and technology, is very close to those made for teams competing in the World Championship: the MK3 model!
