2010 SEASON
REPSOL HONDA TEAM
The team remains unchanged for 2010. This season saw the debut of the Moto2 class, replacing the 250cc class. The world championship was marred by the death of rider Shoya Tomizawa, who was hit in an accident by De Angelis and Redding on the Misano circuit.
Returning to the Repsol Honda Team, both factory riders finished in the top five: Pedrosa took second place with four wins and five second-place finishes. Dovizioso finished fifth: no wins for him, but he almost always finished among the top three. Just like the previous year, the team fully deserved second place in the manufacturer and team standings.
Mivv is also satisfied with the results achieved this season. The Speed Edge exhaust, featuring an “intelligent” design and capable of closely matching the bike’s chassis, was developed for the street aftermarket.

2009 SEASON
REPSOL HONDA TEAM
This Championship marked the changing of the guard between American Hayden and Italian Andrea Dovizioso, while Pedrosa retained his place on the team. This edition of MotoGP was supposed to feature 18 races, with the inclusion of the Hungarian Grand Prix, which was postponed for two years and then replaced by the Aragon GP.
The final results also rewarded Team HRC/Honda Repsol, with a strong second place in the constructors’ and teams’ standings, while the two riders had to settle for third place in the standings for Pedrosa, who scored two wins and nine more podium finishes. Dovi finished the season with a win and several good finishes, securing sixth place in the overall standings.
The collaboration between Mivv and the Honda Repsol team is as intense as in previous seasons.

2008 SEASON
REPSOL HONDA TEAM
For the third consecutive year, Pedrosa and Hayden will ride the factory Hondas. Some staff changes have occurred: the two chief mechanics are Mike Leitner and Pete Benson, while Kazuhiko Yamano becomes team manager. It’s worth noting that Pedrosa changed tires during the season; the switch to Bridgestone led to the creation of a partition wall between Dani and Nicky inside the garage to avoid scrutiny of tire data. A similar solution had already been seen at the start of the season between Rossi and his teammate/rival Lorenzo.
The Honda Repsol Team finished third in both the riders’ championship (with Dani Pedrosa taking two wins and nine other podiums) and the constructors’ championship. The team fared better in the team standings, finishing second. Nicky Hayden didn’t shine, only finishing on the podium twice, with a second and third place.
Mivv’s commitment continues this season, always available to meet the team’s various needs.

2007 SEASON
REPSOL HONDA TEAM
The same rider lineup was confirmed for the 2007 season. This year, the team began using the new 800cc Honda RC212V, to comply with the new FIM regulations, which lowered the engine capacity from 990cc to 800cc. The bike initially didn’t achieve the expected success, but fortunately, thanks to development, performance improved as the races progressed.
Pedrosa scored two wins, adding six more podiums, and finished the season in second place, behind Casey Stoner. Hayden finished eighth in the riders’ standings with four third-place finishes. Honda and the Repsol team finished second in the constructors’ and teams’ standings.
Mivv collaborated closely with the Honda Repsol team, building on the previous year’s success. The Suono exhaust, the result of an intense and innovative design study, was developed for the street aftermarket.

2006 SEASON
REPSOL HONDA TEAM
The 2006 Championship started off strong: Nicky Hayden won the title. His teammate was Dani Pedrosa, already the 250cc world champion.
Nicky led the championship for much of the season. The season ended with a setback at the Portuguese GP, following an accident that involved both himself and his teammate: Rossi regained the championship lead. Everything came down to the final race, which saw Rossi’s shocking crash on lap 5: Hayden’s third-place finish allowed him to become World Champion. Pedrosa finished the championship in fifth place, with two race wins and five other podiums. At EICMA 2006, the American rider was celebrated at the Mivv stand, where a podium and an interview open to the public were prepared for the occasion.
During the first year of collaboration, Mivv provided the best possible support for the team’s needs. The victory in the World Championship rewarded the efforts made during the racing season. The GP exhaust is developed for the road aftermarket, taking advantage of the experience gained in the world championship.
